All our visitors share a great passion for journeys and they are always curious to discover new horizons: traditionally, Switzerland is open to other cultures and the Swiss love go touring in order to know the world.

According to the Financial Times, Switzerland is the country with the highest per head income in the world: a nation that can afford high expenses for travelling! Helvetic people love travelling all the year long. Schools distribute vacations during the whole year and families have the possibility of going on holiday also in periods normally considered low season.

The Swiss market is an ideal market: prosperous, stable and searching for quality tourism. The Swiss International Holiday Exhibition is therefore the ideal means for national and inter national operators to contact this basin. A sizeable part of our visitors comes from the neighbouring Italian regions: Lugano is situated near the Italian borders. This means that the residents of the northern provinces of Italy can easily get to the Swiss International Holiday Exhibition. IViaggiatori is the tourist fair that boasts the largest number of Italian visitors abroad; also in this case it's a market particularly flourishing and inclined to tourism.
