Swiss International Holiday Exhibition
The Swiss International Holiday Exhibition of Lugano does not need any more to be introduced to the operators: the City Boards and, moreover, the facilities have showed, with their increasing presence, to have fully understood the great potentialities of the Event.
The 5th Edition reconfirms the goals reached in the Swiss and international exhibition market presenting, at the same time, the results of an endless refining work. There are much more novelties and they concern the main ambits of the Exhibition.
The partecipation of City Boards and facilities have been further increased: the presence of foreign and exotic destinations has doubled, in favour of the 80.000 visitors expected during the four days, visitors who are always more interested in the new touristic proposals. Inside the Exhibition it has been created an appointment program which allows the exhibitors to meet travelling agencies, travel manager coordinators, associations and ski-clubs in order to develop new business relations. The event will be more advertised through press, television, radio, billposting, internet and direct mailing, for a higher spreading both in Switzerland and in Northern Italy. Along the unique route which will lead the visitors among the suggested wonderful destinations there will be staged an happening area where artists coming from all over the world,17.36 28/09/2007 will present music, dances and happenings tied to their Country traditions.
Among the most charming destinations that have joined the 2007 edition of the Exhibition we can find Panama, Botswana, Syria, Malaysa, Maldive Islands, Peru, Antigua and Barbuda, and also a great presence from all over Europe and from the Mediterranean area.
The new edition - which will be held as always at the Centro Esposizioni of Lugano - will open Thursday, 1st November and will close Sunday, 4th November. The opening hours are from 11.00 to 19.
